Reusing old items | Greenopolis

A recent article in the Family Handyman Magazine (Jul/Aug 2012) had some great ideas for reusing old items from home improvement. One idea is to take old concrete from torn-out sidewalks and use it to make paths, patios and walls. For walls, it can be stacked. For paths, lay the concrete pieces like flagstones, then fill in dirt or sand around them.

Another idea is to donate old items like doors and windows to Habitat for Humanity's Re-store or similar reuse outlet.
